CR&S' Duu Motorcycles Are Awesome and Expensive

If you're on the look for a zero-compromise bike to make people stare in amazement, you should definitely take a look at the CR&S machines. With CR&S standing for Cafe Racers & Superbikes, the company was started 20 years ago by Roberto Crepaldi, and it looks like they really got wing. Or at least that's what we think looking at these amazing beasts.

This year's EICMA show in Milan, Italy, saw three of the new CR&S Duu bikes. With the name of the series already sounding a bit on the intriguing side, the very names bring even more mystery in the matter: Alegher, Nottenbia and Sbirluscenta.

All three beasts are powered by the acclaimed X-Wedge S&S V-twin, boasting an 1915cc displacement and 91 hp, while the torque is widely on the wild side: 148 Nm (more than 109 lb-ft). With an intriguing stainless steel tube construction, the CR&S Duu motorcycles are still lightweight.

The steel components are held together by light alloy elements and the fuel tank is partially embedded in the very frame. CR&S claim the frame will remain shiny for the bikes' entire life and no rust is to be seen anywhere. Machined 17” wheels and all, the bikes weigh in at only 245 kg (541 lbs) dry and can easily reach over 200 km/h (124 mph).

Prices are rather wild, also: €37,000 ($48,200) for Nottenbia, €41,000 ($53,415) for Alegher and a whopping €47,000 ($61,230) for the Sbirlucenta. But if you can afford them, definitely buy one!
